Bay Area Workshops
Ben Page, creator of Story Weaving and a Bay Area–based educator, is now bringing Story Weaving directly into K-8 classrooms as an on-site workshop.
Over 2 days, in sessions of an hour each day, Ben leads students through the full practice live — harvesting language from shared stories, weaving it into original writing, and reading their work aloud to the class — giving teachers and administrators a firsthand look at how the method builds reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills alongside real social-emotional growth.
It’s a low-lift way for a school to pilot Story Weaving before committing to teacher training and a memorable literacy experience for students. Workshops can be scheduled for a single classroom or grade level and can be tailored to a school’s specific reading, writing, or SEL goals.
